  1. Conclusion • The VTA is particularly effective in accident-prone locations (red zones). When an accident may be caused due to a number of factors which cannot be immediately resolved, and in cases where it’s obvious that given the same situation, another accident will almost certainly occur in the future. • The VTA transmitters will be distributed, according to levels of danger and number of alerts (the time between alerts) in order to maintain its effectiveness and prevent the device from becoming a nuisance. • The VTA is a guardian angel which provides real-time alerts of dangerous on road situations. • The VTA increases driver alertness and encourages them to drive with greater care. It helps to change a driver’s state of mind as they step into the vehicle and prepare to drive. • The VTA isa revolutionary device which provides drivers with significant added value in the variety of alerts ensuring they arrive home safely. • ImplementationThe most effective way to implement such a project is as follows: • Vehicle manufacturers will install the receivers in cars, adapting the language to different countries. • Transportation authorities in each country will install transmitters according to target criteria. In this way, the location and number of transmitters (alerts/reports) will be adapted to the needs of each country. In addition, the location and number of transmitters will be adjust according to various developments. • An international standard for alerts/reports will be maintained, only the language will change. • Vocal Traffic Alerts • Provides a direct solution to the central factors involved in an accident, as well as having a significant affect on other causes: • Ignoring traffic signs and lights. • Increasing awareness of dangers on the road. • Changing the public’s attitude to driving (Increasing awareness of the very real dangers on the road). • Helping to sharpen driver’s senses. • Minimizing risks (The driver will be more aware and will take less risks, therefore decreasing the danger to other drivers). • Concentration (Drivers are more alert and focused). • Patent Application IL195413 . Presenting: Vocal Traffic Alerts Technology recruited and a new invention created to decrease the number of road accidents. VTA isyour Guardian Angel VTA is designed to give real time voice alerts/reports on traffic lights and signs as well as other important information (dangers, road works, accidents etc.). VTA is highly effective in known danger zones. The driver is alerted upon approach of such areas and therefore drives more carefully. Alerts/reports can be received selectively, and are only transmitted to vehicles heading in the relevant direction (where the traffic lights or sign posts apply). The VTA is simple and straightforward to operate and uses well-established technologies, making it highly reliable. Filtering Reports Allows alerts/reports to be set according to driver groups (enabling a distinction between accident-prone and safer drivers). Accident Investigations The device can measure the distance between the moment a traffic light or stop sign alert is received to the moment the car stops. Receiver Transmitter Two simple tools: A transmitter and a receiver Traffic Signs: At times a driver’s attention is diverted from the road, they may not see important traffic signs. For example: • The annual economic damage amounts to approximately 518 billion dollars. Funds which could have been allocated to promoting the wellbeing of the world’s population. • To this we can add the immeasurable damage caused by pain: • The injured and handicapped • Parents who lose their children • Families who have lost loved ones and will never again feel happy and complete. Mobile Traffic Signs Broken Down Vehicles Vehicles parked by the side of the road can send a signal to passing cars. Advanced Version In its advanced version (requiring connection to vehicle speedometer) the device can be set to alert/report of oncoming traffic lights or road signs only if the vehicle has passes a particular speed limit – preventing unnecessary alerts. Road accidents can be avoided.. Road Accidents Are Avoidable Traffic Signs According to Schedules Two Zones Emergency Versatile Traffic Signs Each transmitter contains a changeable encoder and can encode any alert/report. The transmitter can be adjusted to any traffic sign using a simple code. Over recent years we have witnessed a growing number of unnecessary road accidents often caused by human error, mostly due to the increased number of vehicles on roads, and poor driving habits. The average currently stands at approximately 1.2 million deaths and 40 million injuries annually. The daily average is approximately 3,290 deaths and 82,190 injuries. Mobile traffic signs, placed in cases road blocks, danger requiring careful driving (such as ice on the road, etc.) and are later removed. The transmitter/traffic sign can be under the responsibility of various authorities (policy, fire department, municipality etc.), is simple to operate. Emergency vehicles on duty (police, fire, ambulance services) can signal an alert/report to all vehicles within range to clear the road. The transmitter can broadcast traffic sign codes according to pre-determined schedules (days, nights, weekends etc.). Alerts/reports can be broadcast in two directions. This is particularly relevant on two-way roads, where drivers approaching from both directions need to alerted. For example: A two-way road with pedestrian crossing. • Situations which require the drivers complete attention • (complex driving) • Large vehicles such as trucks which conceal traffic signs • Stormy weather requires greater attention from drivers • and does not allow drivers to look to the sides. • Distractions while driving • Insufficient lighting at night • Fatigue Receiver Transmitter Out of Order Traffic Lights The device alerts drivers despite the traffic light being out of order. The transmitter is a tiny chip placed near the traffic sign/lights or at any point where drivers should receive an alert. The transmitter broadcasts 256 different message codes, and can be attached to an electric or solar power source. The receiver is connected to the vehicle’s power source (basic version) and alerts the driver when the vehicle passes a transmitter and heads in the relevant direction (one beep is heard prior to a report and two beeps prior to an alert). The device gives 256 types of alerts. Thank you! www.vta.co.il info@vta.co.il It is indeed the world’s greatest catastrophe, and it’s taking place right in front of our eyes!
