  3. Application Portfolio • Questionnaires released week of 25 August • Questionnaires due back Sept 12th • VITA development of web interface on track • POC is Daniel.boersma@veap.virginia.gov

  4. Enterprise Applications Security • Initial meeting with VITA and NG on 16 Sept. identified need for a strategy • Follow-on meeting scheduled for the week of 29 Sept. between VEAP, Agencies, VITA & NG • VEAP is seeking a solution (inside and outside COV domain) which addresses: • Identity and access management • Single-Sign-On (SSO) • Application security

Human Resources Demonstration • Paperless Human Resources application • Developed by the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) • Modules include: • Applicant Tracking - Hiring Forms • Personal Info - Time Keeping • Training - Employee performance • Saved ABC 16-20 hours of labor per pay period per pay clerk • Demo for HR and Payroll specialist on 3 Oct from 10 am to 3 pm (location TBD) • POC is Will Goldschmidt will.goldschmidt@veap.virginia.gov (804) 786-0519

  6. eForms Shared Service • VEAP is working with Virginia Interactive to establish a shared service that will provide agencies a way to easily and rapidly convert their existing paper based forms into Fillable eForms that can be linked to databases • Inward facing or outward facing • The service will be provisioned by using Adobe Lifecycle server and related products • Stay tuned for details…….
