  1. Two Birds One Stone Cafe’s Burger in South Yarra Over Any Aussie Snack Australia is a hub of cute cafes and eateries offering scrumptious burger in South Yarra, and one such cafe that I know of is Two Birds One Stone. Other than the prominent cafes, Australia has its fair share of sweet and savoury delicacies/snacks. It's time to indulge in some of these earnestly ‘fair-dinkum’ food items that one can relish even while holidaying. To begin with- AUSTRALIAN MEAT PIE These hearty parcels of scrumptiousness hit Aussie coasts in 1788, and well, the remaining is history. The way Americans relish a hot dog at a baseball match, Aussies are fond of meat pie at a soccer game or on their next camping incident. You can hunt down a local bakery and get a pie you adore, or you can try your fluke at a camp pie. Sure, it is not a traditional Aussie beef pie, but isn’t a weekend camping about adventures and getting our hands on something new?

  2. SAUSAGE IN BREAD Okay, okay! We cannot imagine leaving this one off the list at any cost. Many of us can’t even plan a trip to Bunnings without buying this one, let alone forget to pack these in with our vacation food favourites. If the inn that you have planned to stay in doesn’t have a refrigerator, then that’s cool. Camp kitchens will cover you up easily and effortlessly because we know for a fact that no Australian vacation is complete without sausage in bread. VEGEMITE It might seem like a familiar taste, but this yeast extracts food spread has been a predominant thing in Aussie kitchens since 1923. Be it on a toast for breakfast or a slice of cheese and Vegemite sandwich it makes for the perfect travel buddy for all. LAMINGTON This square-shaped butter cake immersed in chocolate and covered in powdered coconut is assumed to be first invented in Queensland in early 1900. Quite similar to the pavlova dessert, the Lamington is arguably said to be Australian, while others assume it came first from New Zealand. Whatever you say, not only are they cheap and simple to make but a perfect sweet treat that you can take along with you on your future holidays. The cherry on the cake is that it can be kept for up to 1 week in an air-tight container for consumption. It implies that you don’t have to share them with accompanying campers before they go rotten, even though it’s likely impossible that you’ll have anything remaining by then to share with peers anyway. TIM TAMS Ahh, Tim Tams. A two-layered chocolate cookie to be eaten by biting off one end and using the rest as a straw in a hot drink, preferably hot chocolate. Everyone around prefers calling this a Tim Tam Slam- apt for sharing with peers and family over a campfire. It is assumed that Tim Tam is likely to be found in one in every two Aussie homes, eating approx 45 million packets of Arnott's cookies every year. Add this to the calmness in your vicinity, and it will make up for one damn great vacation.

  3. All these vacation must-have snacks and more need to go in your picnic basket or an Aussie travel backpack to feel at home. But, when you want to explore a cafe serving a lip-smacking burger in South Yarra or around this region, then Two Birds One Stone Cafe is a perfect catch. Book a table today and relish all your cultural favourites at this cafe.
