Hebrew Mindset Affecting Our Ethos

This exploration delves into how the Hebrew mindset influences church ethos, contrasting it with the Greek dualism that separates sacred from secular. Plato's ideas shaped the church’s understanding of community and identity, framing the term "church" (Ekklesia) as a gathering of those called out by God. By examining the distinctions between Hebrew and Greek thought, we uncover a holistic approach to life that emphasizes belonging, action, and family—the core elements driving the church's philosophy and community dynamics today.
