Summary • Global economy is recovering from the bottom of this crisis • Global oil demand likely remains below 2007 level in 2010 • US oil supply/consumption likely stabilize at present level in the near future • US diesel price is anticipated to have a modest increase from present time till the end of 2010 • Available data suggests modest cost increase in major materials in highway and street construction compared to the beginning of the year.

  18. Conclusions • Highway and Street Construction costs are likely to experience modest increase from the present level for the remainder of 2009 and in 2010 • Speculators, instead of demand/supply, will remain the major driving force of oil prices in the near future
