Projects and Assignments • Personal computers vs. labs • I need to know so we can put the right software • Semester project will be on an open source software of your choice • Restrictions: • Sourceforge engineering/scientific • Java • > 20 classes
Assignment 1 • Use Eclipse • IDE – Integrated Development Environment • Follow the step by step instructions in Assignment 1 • Download Eclipse if you don’t have it, or use Lab computer that has it • Choose a sourceforge project • Download it, build it, and run it
Tuesday • I will post readings on Project Management • Assignment 1 is due at 5pm by email
