FUNction Project ;D BY: Kelsi Brinkmeyer
Real World Problem ;D Savannah and Kelsi went to the mall and bought CD’s. if one CD costs 15.95, then how much will it be if the have enough money to buy 4?
Equations ;D The equation to my problem is: y- 15.95x or f(x)- 15.95x. X- number of CD’s Y- total cost.
Independent & Dependent ;D TheIndependent variable is the number of CD’s. The Dependent variable isthe total cost. So, the total cost depends on the number of CD’s
Domain & Range ;D Domain: (1, 2, 3, 4) Range: (15.95, 31.90, 47.85, 63.80) R A DOMAIN G E
Continuous or discrete? ;D My data contains points, NOT a line. So, it is DISCRETE.
Is it a function? ;D If it is a function, the x values won’t repeat. So therefore my problem is a function because they don’t repeat.
CD graph ;D Total cost Number of CD’s
Answer ;D Depending on how many CD;s they buy, Kelsi & savannah could spent $15.95- $63..80 (without tax)
