Pleasantville High School • 580 students enrolled 2007-2008 • 63 students from Pocantico Hills (11%) • 9 to1 student/faculty ratio • 100% of faculty have earned Master Degree • 60% of faculty have 30+ credits beyond the masters level • 7% hold Doctoral Degree • 60% of faculty are veteran staff with greater than 10 years experience in their field

Special Resources • Construction project that will upgrade the entire high school complex • Jacob Burns Film Center • TV Studio • Smartboards in every classroom • State of the art Language Lab • Science/Math portable laptop cart • Two state of the art computer labs • Two all purpose synthetic athletic turf fields • Athletic trainer

Graduating Class of 2008 • 94% graduated with a Regents Diploma • 71% Advanced Designation • 29% Regents • 6% graduated with Local Diploma • 98% of the class enrolled in college • Students were awarded $2,881,550 in scholarships • 3 National Merit Finalists, 1 National Hispanic Scholar and 8 Letters of Commendation • AP Scholars – 12, AP Scholars w/ Honors – 9, AP Scholar w/ Distinction – 19, National Scholar - 6
