4. How do you fit all the pieces together? Have you ever wondered what it takes to make that match made in heaven when it comes to research administration? Its like being caught up in a real life love triangle.
Scenario 1:
Youre committed to your faculty member, he or she is great at what they do but when it comes to managing their research, they dont have a clue. Your OSP office gets the other woman syndrome and they feel as if theyre the enemy. Here you are, caught in the middle. Your faculty wants an answer other than what you gave him/her. You feel like your cheating with OSP because youre getting a second opinion. How do you ensure a great working relationship between the two and manage to get away with a menagez-trois?
Scenario 2:
Do you sometimes feel like a gopher with multiple tasks that encompass your position? Kind of like the blanket term that ends all job descriptions, and other duties as assigned Youre in a professional field but your job smells like that of a faculty members personal assistant.
Were here to help you figure out the puzzle and begin to put the pieces together. In order to gain everyones respect and maintain a little self-respect, you must become an expert in the field.Have you ever wondered what it takes to make that match made in heaven when it comes to research administration?
