  1. A Complete Guide to Filling Online DIR 3 KYC DIR 3 KYC is known as a form, which is required to be filed by every director who holds an allotted DIN (Director Identification Number). This form is a mandatory requirement for all the directors regardless of their status as approved / disqualified. Further, this registration named DIR-3-KYC-WEB is used by the DIN holder who has filed and registered DIR-3 KYC e-form in the previous financial year. The deadline to fill the DIR 3 KYC E form and DIR 3 KYC WEB is standardized to be 30th April of forthcoming financial year. In case you are wondering about who is required to file Director KYC, the answer is Simple. Every director who holds a DIN on or before the end of the financial year is necessitated to fill this form. Some of the required documents/ credentials include email ID, contact number, self-Attested PAN, Aadhaar card, an electricity bill/ bank statement with current address, passport-size photograph and a digital signature of the director. There is no government fees of filing DIR3 KYC. In addition, this requirement stands valid for a director who has a foreigner nationality. However, in his case, Aadhar card will not be a requisite. Penalty of not filing a Director KYC In case a director fails to file e-Form by the due date or until the extended last date via MCA 21 portal, the compliance failure is recorded. The DIN (identification number) of such director is therefore marked as ‘Deactivated due to Non-filing of DIR-3 KYC’ by the authorities. In such case, director has the option of re-activating his DIN by re-filing the e-Form DIR-3 KYC after submitting a late fee with a fine amounting to INR 5,000. This penalty is mandatory which is necessary to be paid to activate the DIN again. In short, failure to fil Director KYC defeats the right of acting as a director in any company.
