Analysis of Feedback Survey Results for 2011 Event: Insights and Recommendations

Created with input from key members and mentor Kumar, the questionnaire included 10-12 questions covering various aspects such as format, software use, logistics, and duration. Launched via email on November 30, 2011, the survey remained open for 10 days, achieving over 40% response rate. Key findings highlighted both positive feedback and areas for improvement, including event duration, interaction opportunities, and venue selection. Recommendations were made to enhance future events.

The Process • Questionnaire created with the help from key members and the mentor (Kumar) • 10-12 questions • Objective (Multiple choice) AND • Subjective • Aspects covered • Format • Software • Duration • Logistics • Etc… • Questions for both participants as well as parents/guardians • Survey launched through e-mail – • Nov 30th, 2011 (3 days after the event) • Kept open for 10 days • 2 Reminders sent – Dec 3rd, 2011 and Dec 10th, 2011

Verbose feedback – What could be better? • Duration – 1 day was too less • Amount of interaction(time) was less • Lack of base data upfront • Missing introductions • Low response from girls • “Lot of candidates were still shy by the end of the day” • Parent-less affair • Should not have allowed parents in the end • Plays/skits • Number of re-groups were low • Venue should have been in the city • Food • “Travelling arrangement, food, event hall, programme”
