  5. Successful Programs • Schools Should • Designate a fulltime teacher (iHigh coach) to coordinate on-site Dual Enrollment program • Provide an onsite lab in which students are scheduled for one or two periods to work on iHigh courses.

  6. Successful Programs • Schools Must • Assign a counselor to schedule the courses in the iHigh track. • Assign at least one mentor to monitor student progress.

  7. Dual Enrollment Steps • Dual-enroll student with iHigh (Site Tech) • Schedule the courses using the iHigh Course Guide (Counselors) • Monitor coursework, proctor exams, help provide on-site academic support, etc. (Mentors)

  8. Accessing iHigh’s Zangle Track • Submit Site Information Form (name, site, ID, email, phone) to iHigh via email or fax • Email notification when access is available

  10. iHigh Course Guide Enrollment Dates(See Guide) Window opens to do scheduling Closes prior to start of new quarter or semester. Allows time to balance classes & order books and headsets

  11. iHigh Courses You will see LOTS of iHigh courses listed in Zangle, several of which are not available for Dual Enrollment.

  12. iHigh Courses Please ONLY select courses which are listed on the most recent edition of the iHigh Course Guide!

  22. Students with IEPs or 504s The site team should meet to determine whether online courses are appropriate for the student’s needs.

  23. Student Logins Students have a temporary login Emailed to their address in Zangle. They are required to change it on first login and MUST remember it.

  25. When to Proctor a Test • Students taking regular Core classes should have a proctored mid-term (whichever TST is approximately mid-course) and a proctored final exam.

  26. When to Proctor a Test • Students taking a course with an Apex instructor will need all TSTs (units tests and final exam) to be proctored. Advanced Placement Spanish French

  27. Test Security • Unlike the CSTs, which are generated from an item bank and therefore have multiple versions, there is only ONE version of each TST. Therefore…

  28. Test Security • PLEASE print the Teacher-Scored Tests ahead of time and practice vigilant supervision until the student submits the test.

  29. Test Security • Please DO NOT unlock the TSTs for the students, to prevent a situation where a test is left unlocked over time due to the proctor being distracted.
