O Grupo de Poluição do Ar e Meteorologia Aplicada (GPAMA) é um grupo de pesquisa registrado no diretório do Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPQ), criado dentro do Departamento de Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental (DESA) da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. O GPAMA possui pesquisadores colaboradores de diversas instituições de ensino e pesquisa no país, realiza investigação científica fundamental e aplicada, participa da formação de mestres e doutores, além da iniciação cientifica e de estágios para estudantes de graduação. Os pesquisadores do GPAMA têm formação acadêmica diversificada, com aplicação direta aos problemas relacionados à meteorologia, engenharia, meio ambiente e qualidade do ar.
