Duties • As a tech assistant you will be responsible for having near perfect attendance, and arriving to advisory and tech time early. • But most importantly, ensuring that the iPads are checked out and checked in properly. • If you notice that there is an iPad missing let your teacher know immediately. • Also let your teacher know, if during check out an iPad is left inside the cart. • Place every iPad in the correct slot and plug it in to charge. • Make sure chargers and cables stay in the cart.

  4. Overview • Each advisory has 2 tech assistants and 1 alternate. It is important that you work as a team to have a smooth experience. • For example, during Check Out, one tech assistant can call out the names on the list, while the other tech assistant hands the iPad to the student. • During Check In, one tech assistant can call the students to the cart, while the other tech assistant places the iPads in the correct slot. • Before the end of advisory and tech time, relay all check in /check out information to your teacher.

  5. Tips/ Info • Take your time when checking in the iPads, rushing will cause mistakes. • Handle the iPads with care. • The only students allowed to grab iPads from the cart are tech assistants. No other student is allowed access. Make substitute teachers aware of this. • If you are sharing carts with another teacher and there is an iPad in one of your slots. Let your teacher know.
