Join the Akima Thomas Women and Girls Network as we celebrate 25 years of progressive efforts during CSW57 in the UK. This year's theme focuses on tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) through a holistic approach. We emphasize empowerment, diversity, and the need for a coordinated multi-agency response. Our recommendations advocate for a national VAWG strategy grounded in human rights, creative long-term services, and community engagement to challenge societal tolerance of violence. Together, we can eliminate VAWG and ensure safety and dignity for all.
