  2. World Wildlife Fund - international NGO working in the areas relating to the conservation, research and restoration of the environment. The mission of WWF is to prevent degradation of the planet's natural environment and to achieve harmony between man and nature. The main objective - the preservation of Earth's biodiversity. .

  3. Symbol WWF – Big Panda. During panda’s Chi- Chi stay at the London Zoo in 1961, it was seen by one of the founders of the WWF - a scientist and artist Sir Peter Scott. He made a portrait of the panda and decided that the image of the good-natured animal in need of protection is the perfect symbol of the new fund. Symbolism

  4. Charitable organization WWF was founded in April 29, 1961, and the first WWF office was opened on September 11 in Switzerland. For a little over four decades of the WWF has become one of the most famous and respected independent conservation organizations in the world. Since 1985, WWF has invested about 1,165 billion dollars in more than 11,000 projects in 130 countries. The main areas in which WWF works - is climate change, forests, fresh water, oceans and seas, flora and fauna species, toxic substances. .
