  5. Vision To create a blueprint to improve watershed health throughout the SF Bay Watershed, that builds upon and is complementary with past and current planning efforts

  6. Initial Watershed Selection • Draining to San Francisco Bay-Delta (RWQCB, Region 2) • Larger watersheds • Bay-wide representation • Potential for IRWMP water management strategies • Identify local sub-regional watersheds for inclusion/development

  7. Project Inventory • Approx. 650 watershed projects • Approx. 120 tier 1 (ready to proceed) projects • Good project distribution from around the Bay • Gaps remain for project information

  8. Purpose of Project Evaluation Framework • Evaluate and prioritize watershed projects for funding by the Conservancy and/or others (e.g., Prop 50, Ch. 8). • Structured according to BAWP goals and objectives • Emphasizes projects with multiple watershed benefits • Considers planning aspects
