  1. PVSpecGeGa H. Dannerbauer, U. Klaas, J. Bouwman • Motivation: • characterization of the GeGa detector • Preconditions: • photometric standards and PACS Internal CSs • telescope temperature < 100 K, final temp not required • results from commissiong phase • Contents: • carrying out dark current measurements (PCD 1.2.6) • linearity of CRE read-out (PCD 1.2.11) • dynamic range per selected integration capacity (PCD 1.2.3)

  2. PVSpecGeGa • Dark Current Measurements: • starring mode; non-standard AORs • both CSs • in buffer transmission mode for a total of 420 sec (burst mode) • RI of 2sec • bias setting: bias_d_red= 0.03 V, bias_r_red=3.e-4 V, bias_d_blu=0.08 V, bias_r_blu=3.e-4 V • we use lowst capacity for both arrays • repeated twice and for both blue filters • should also address stray light aspects blue red from PICC-MA-TR-051 (FM-IST)

  3. PVSpecGeGa • Linearity of CRE read-out • Dynamic range per selected integration capacitor red, modul 10, pixel 10 from saturation behaviour and ramp linearity (ILT): test report PICC-MA-TR-045 should be soon released.

  4. PVSpecGeGa • Linearity/Dynamic Range measurements: • starring mode • non-standard AOR • 1) on calibrators • in loss-less compression mode (burst mode) • per observations one module (spatial pixel); in total five spatial pixels • selected moduls covers both supply groups • 2) on PACS Internal CSs • buffer transmission mode (burst mode) • repeated twice and for both blue filters • only on one CS1 is enough

  5. PVSpecGeGa from latest PV plan V0.83

  6. PVSpecGeGa Update/Modifications x2 5 11.5 5 +1/8s loss-less compression mode x2 we are thinking to repeat this block =22.1 hrs from latest PV plan V0.83

  9. PVSpecGeGa from latest PV plan V0.83

  10. PVSpecGeGa • What still has to be done: • 1) DC measurements: • pointing needed also for dark current measurements (Dark Sky Field) • → to compare/have a reference to the FOV scans and the RSRF meas. on the same field • →eng measurements could be on brighter skybackground without pointing • do measurements also on CS2 • 2) Linearity/Dynamic Range measurements: • implement detector selection table for four more moduls, so far only done • for central spatial pixel • modify CUS script for buffer transmission mode measurements on CS1 • 3) CUS script should be tested during FS ILT as so far it has never been • carried out under test conditions

  11. PVSpecGeGa • Analysis: • already tools for analyzing the data are existing • in FM ILT and IST JS took care for (1) and • JeB for (2)
