  2. What are web pages? • WebPages appear on the internet. • They are electronic media. • They are generally about a specific topic, and they have links which take the viewer to other web pages.

  3. What makes a web page attractive and entertaining? • Think back to when you were using the internet to research a topic. What made you want to keep reading? • Bright, colorful graphics • Well-organized and easy to read • A good balance of text and graphics

  4. FATP • Format- Webpage • Audience- Peers, teachers, parents • Topic- Me • Purpose- Inform

Vocabulary • Web page- Information organized for electronic media • Graphics- Illustrations, colors, fonts, bullets, etc. • Design- An organized plan which includes placement, color, text, and graphics • Purpose- Why are you writing? • Audience- To whom are you writing ? • Context-The entire background and purpose of your project or event.
