  2. An Overview There are thousands of bridges in America. Some of them are very beautiful, very old, very long and very scary too. Bridges are a very important part of a country’s infrastructure. It’s no secret that the infrastructure of the United States is not in very good condition. In fact, according to the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), US infrastructure got a D+ grade in 2017. But, it’s getting better now. Now, private transportation infrastructure companies invest in bridge capital for solving the infrastructure crisis in the United States. This agreement is called a public-private partnership.
