  1. TPSP: Pursuit of Passion Final Preparations!

  2. Print your bibliography! Remember, you should have AT LEAST 3 sources. If you completed an interview, that DOES count as a source! Look at your gold card for the parts needed to cite the source!

  3. Printing Your Works Cited Page To save your works sited page, choose “Print/Export to Word”

  4. Works Cited Select “Download File” from the top warning bar (it’s okay, I promise!) and then select “open.” THEN, rename and save your bibliography to your PoP folder!

  5. Don’t forget to add your name, GT class and project title at the top! Works Cited Your finished “Works Cited” page will look something like this!   6. What to expect for your presentation • Classmates completing evaluation forms during presentation • 5 minute limit with 1 minute warning • 2-3 minute Q & A with classmates

  7. What to include in your presentation • What is your research question? • Why did you choose this? (Explain your passion) • Describe your hands-on activity (interview, observation, etc.) • What new things did you learn from your research? • Show and explain your product • Share any questions you still have and what you would like to pursue in the future!

  8. Tips for an effective presentation • PRACTICE! • Make notes – if you are using a PowerPoint, print out a notes page ahead of time so it will be in front of you – do NOT look back at the screen to read it! • Dress for success! • Stand straight and tall • Use gestures/hand movements when necessary!
