  2. Okhla Bird Sanctuary timing The Okhla Bird Sanctuary is the perfect place for winter bird watching. You get to watch birds of Indian breed as well as the migratory birds. Take a stroll within the bird sanctuary as you gaze up at a variety of species of birds. The Okhla bird sanctuary in Noida takes you to a whole different world far away from the humdrum and of this busy city. Vulnerable bird species: The Okhla Bird Sanctuary is also home to 29 different varieties of birds species that are known to be vulnerable and on the brink of extinction in the near future. This includes the Indian skimmer Finn’s weaver, the Baikal teal, sarus crane, the Bristled Grassbird, the fish eagle, lapwing, and the adjutant bird species.

This includes 7 of these species such as the grey-headed fish Eagle, ferruginous pochard, black-bellied tern, and several other species. Other rare bird attractions: Apart from the above, you can also spot rare migratory birds like the Western Marsh harrier,  pied avocet, wood sandpiper, black-tailed godwit, common redshank, bluethroat, and lots more.

Okhla Bird Sanctuary timing: The Okhla Bird Sanctuary is open from 7 in the morning to 5:30 in the evening during the summer. While in the winter this Bird Sanctuary is open from 7:30 in the morning to 5 in the evening.

  6. Price of tickets at the Okhla Bird Sanctuary entrance: Both Indian visitors and foreign tourists are allowed entry into the Okhla Bird Sanctuary. The price for entry tickets into the Okhla Bird Sanctuary differs between Indians and foreigners. The entry fee for a ticket into this bird sanctuary for a person per day is Rs 30 if it is an Indian citizen, whereas for a foreigner it would cost Rs 350. Indian visitors who wish to capture the beauty of this bird sanctuary with feature films are charged with Rupees 1 lakh per day while foreigners are charged Rs. 15,0000 per day.
