ELP test coordinators have been assigned in your district • Responsible for training and/or administering the IDEA Proficiency Test (IPT) developed by Ballard & Tighe, distributed and scored by Pearson. • Limited English Proficient (LEP) pupils must be: 4 AAC 34.055 • Identified within 30 days after the start of the year. • Tested annually using state-wide assessment IPT • Exited when a proficient score on the IPT is received. • Monitored for two years after exiting LEP status Who is involved…
