Coaches/Team Moms • The coach/team mom section of the YSPN.NET website is where teams are built and managed. • Head Coach – When a coach builds a team, they are automatically designated as the head coach. • Assistant coach – The assistant coach has all of the capabilities as the head coach except the ability to create a team. Therefore, assistant coaches must be assigned to a team. • Team Mom – The team mom has all of the capabilities as the head coach except the ability to create a team. Therefore, team moms must be assigned to a team.

  4. Coaches/Team Moms Registration • Before a coach can create a team, they must register on YSPN.NET. • Before assistant coaches and team moms can be assigned to a team, they must first register on YSPN.NET. • Coaches and team moms complete the same online registration form. • Registration on YSPN.NET is a FREE, one time process.

  5. To register as a coach or team mom, go to the ‘Coach/Team Mom Registration’ page to create your account. Inside your account you can manage your teams.

  6. To register, go to the Coach/Team Mom Registration page and complete the form. You must at least complete the required fields.

  7. Once you register successfully, you will be directed to a page confirming your registration.

  8. You will also receive a registration confirmation email with your login credentials.

  9. You can then go directly to your account by clicking on the link, or by logging in from the Coach/Team Mom login form.

  15. Creating a Team • The first step to managing your team on YSPN.NET is to create a team. • Once your team is created, and your coaching assignment is verified, you will have access to all of the available functions.

  16. Click the ‘Create A Team’ tab

  17. Complete the ‘Create A Team’ Form

  18. Click the ‘Create Team’ button

  19. You will be directed to a page that will confirm registration of your team.

  20. For security purposes, each team that is created must first be approved by an association administrator before the team can be accessed by the coach. The process is as follows: 2. Administrator is notified via email that team is created. 1. Coach creates a team. 4. Coach is notified via email that coaching assignment has been approved. Coach has full access to team. 3. Administrator approves coaching assignment.

  22. Build your team roster

  23. Build your team roster • Building your team roster consists of adding players, assistant coaches, and team moms to the team roster. • Creating rosters is quick and easy. Once a player, assistant coach, or team mom is added to a roster, they will have complete access to all of the information regarding the team. • NOTE: Players and assistant coaches/team moms must be registered on YSPN.NET before they can be added to a roster.

  26. Make sure the team you want to manage is the one that is currently selected.

  27. If the team you want to manage is not the currently selected team, select it from the list of your available teams.

  28. Click the ‘Add Player’ tab on the roster tab panel

  29. 1. Enter phone number or last name of player

  30. 2. Click the appropriate button to find player

  31. 3. Click link to add a player to the roster NOTE: Player must be registered with YSPN.NET in order to be available for a roster

  32. Player will be added to roster. • Continue this process until roster is complete

  34. Click the ‘Team Roster’ tab NOTE: The coach that created the team is automatically designated as the Head Coach.

  35. Make sure the team you want to manage is the one that is currently selected.

  36. If the team you want to manage is not the currently selected team, select it from the list of your available teams.

  37. Click the ‘Add a Coach/Team Mom’ tab

  38. 1. Enter phone number of the coach NOTE: Assistant Coach must be registered as a coach on YSPN.NET in order to be available for a roster

  42. Click the ‘Team Roster’ tab NOTE: the coach that created the team is automatically assigned as the Head Coach.

  43. Make sure the team you want to manage is the one that is currently selected.

  44. If the team you want to manage is not the currently selected team, select it from the list of your available teams.
