Health, Safety & Environment • No on or off site complaints (to date) • No on or off environmental impacts (to date) • No accidents, incidents or near misses to report (to date) • Project working under the “Construction Design & Management Regulations” regulated by the Health & Safety Executive • Site visit by HSE Construction Division 27th August. No issues of concern raised • Baseline noise survey completed August 2009 and issued to ERYC • Noise, Vibration, Dust Management and Monitoring Scheme submitted to ERYC (in accordance with planning conditions) Caythorpe Liaison Committee 28th September 2009

Water Vole is a protected species and present on the Gypsey Race including location of bridge crossing Ongoing daily surveys on the river Habitat management to encourage voles to move along the river Fallback option is to move the voles under licence from Natural England Ecological Mitigation & Monitoring Strategy submitted to ERYC (in accordance with planning condition) Water Voles Caythorpe Liaison Committee 28th September 2009

  18. Environmental Support Fund The Fund will be structured into two elements: • An initial one-off sum of £150,000 which is available up until the completion of construction of the project (2012); and • An ongoing annual budget of £5,000 as per the Warwick Energy agreement with ERYC (over the 24 year lifespan of the planning permission this equates to £120,000) • The allocation of monies will be subject to applications to the Liaison Committee in accordance with published guidelines Caythorpe Liaison Committee 28th September 2009

  19. Future Activity October-December 2009 • Completion of seismic survey by mid November • Completion of archaeological site works for this season (with remainder of work to be done in spring) • Moving of water voles if habitat management unsuccessful • Construction of bridge and access road (although may be delayed until spring) Caythorpe Liaison Committee 28th September 2009
