  2. Where? Large mountain range in Northern Italy, part of the Greater Alps chain Close to Venice, Cortina and Innsbruck Highest mountain 3343m – Marmolada

  3. Activities VIA FERRATA Technically easy but sustained scrambles/rock climbs Protected by a system of cables, ladders, steps and personal shock absorbing equipment Amazing views but can be very exposed Over 80 routes of varying difficulties (from assisted walk to full on climbing) Great fun =)

  4. WALKING There are a lot of very good walks available Both low altitude and high altitude Stunning views The option to do cable assisted walks

  5. ROCK CLIMBING The dolomites has some amazing climbing We can cater to all tastes from some of the most classic long trad routes, to bouldering and sport climbing There is good climbing for all abilities and lots of mixed level crags

  6. CITY SEEING (optional) We have the option of spending a few days in one of the nearby cities This would depend completely on the group Possible locations include Venice, Verona or Milan Staying in youth hostels or nearby campsites

  7. Getting there Flying The budget airlines serve Venice and possibly Cortina Car Depending on numbers taking cars may be an option (12 hour drive from Calais) Mule Costs carrots, takes time but you will appreciate the scenery more

  8. Getting around This all depends on numbers! If we bring our own cars alls good in the world =) Public transport is an option but will limit our flexibility! For hire cars we need drivers over the age of 21

  9. Cost Remember all of these costs are approximate and subject to change! Based on flying then hiring cars Flights (easyjet from bristol to venice) £60 Car (cheapest for 15 days) £80 (4 people per car) Petrol £30 Food (based on £3 per person per day) £60 Accommodation (£5-10 per day) £100 minimum Insurance (BMC) £48 for 24 days Guide books/maps/contingency £10 ROUGH estimate = £390 For 21 days of UBES style mountain fun =)
