  1. Do you remember ‘The Ditch’!!! ??? !!!

  2. Finally we have news on ‘The Ditch’ Do you remember what the ditch outside the school looked like? It was such a mess!

  3. Lots of people have telephoned, written letters and complained about the ditch. Finally Councillor Banks has had enough and he has collaborated with Mrs Starr to put it right.

  4. Mr Andy Storey helped negotiate with Mrs Starr and Councillor Banks to put an end to the messy ditch.

  5. All sorts of things were found in the ditch. From shopping trolleys, rubbish, bottles, cans and footwear!?!

  6. An environmental area will be made here, with bushes to protect the ditch and help it to look much better.

  7. This is not a finished project, as the upkeep of this area is very important and is ongoing.

  8. I wonder if we could get a few rubbish bins in this area to help. Maybe this would help with the amount of rubbish thrown away!
