  1. The Most Dangerous Game By Taylor Croswell

  2. “ The dinning room to which Ivan conducted him was in many ways remarkable. There was a medieval magnificence about it. It suggested a baronial hall of feudal times, with it’s oaken panels, it’s high ceiling, it’s vast refectory table where two-score men could sit down to eat. About the hall were the mounted heads of many animals- lions, tigers, elephants, moose, bears; larger or more perfect specimens he had never seen before.” The Dinning room We saw how magnificent General Zaroff’s house is and how much money he has because he has such great things. We also saw what a great hunter General Zaroff is by the animal heads on the wall. This setting is important because we learned more about general Zaroff.

  3. “ He examined the ground closely and found what he had hoped to find- the print of hunting boots. They pointed along the cliff in the direction he had been going. Eagerly he hurried along, now slipping on a rotten log or a loose stone, but making headway; night was beginning to settle down on the island.” The jungle The setting of the jungle is import because we learn the environment that he is in and will be in for a while. It tells me that the weather has been rainy because of the falling logs covered in moss. I learned that traveling through the jungle quickly will be a challenge and you’ll have to take your time to get through without falling or tripping over something.
