  5. What kinds of jobs are available? Some jobs at day camps and youth centers involve working with children.

  6. Some jobs involve office or clerical work.

  7. Some jobs involve indoor custodial work.

  8. Some jobs involve outdoor maintenance work.

  9. Some jobs are on construction sites.

  10. Some jobs are even available on farms.

  11. Some of our work sites include: • The YMCA of Kingston • The Boys and Girls Clubs of Kingston and Saugerties • The Children’s Learning Center • YMCA Camp Seewackamano

  12. Other work sites include: • Ulster County Youth Build • The Ellenville Highway Dept. • Ulster County Habitat for Humanity • The Senate House • St. Mary’s Cemetery

How does one apply to participate in the Summer Youth Employment Program? • Get information and download an application from: www.ulsterworks.com • Applications are available by April or May on the web site. • Applications are processed on a first come, first served basis – so get your application in early. • If you don’t have Internet access, you can visit the Ulster Works One Stop Center at 651 Development Court in Kingston to pick up an application. • Call 845-340-3173 for more information.
