  2. ScanAny – As easy as 1,2,3 NO MORE PLASTER CASTING! SAME CASTING TECHNIQUE IN A FRACTION OF THE TIME. 3D ACCURACY!! NOT 2D Step 1. • Put socks on the patient and place the foot in sub-talar joint neutral. Step 2. • Take scan in under 2 seconds, then fill out prescription. Step 3. • Email scan and prescription to the lab.

  3. Step 1. • Position the foot in sub-talar joint neutral (or desired position). • Place calibrated socks on the patients feet. • Hold the foot in desired position, above the 4th/5th metatarsal heads.

  4. Step 2. • Take scan by pressing “Capture Still Image” • Fill in Prescription Form

  5. Step 3. • Email prescription and cast to the lab.

  6. Taking the perfect cast • Set up your camera so that it is slightly angled toward the medial arch of the foot, pointing upward so that a minimal amount of data can be collected from the posterior aspect of the heel. • The finger/thumb should be holding the foot in sub-talar joint neutral. It should be positioned above the 4th/5th metatarsal heads. • Imagine a line between the medial aspect of the 1st MPJ and the medial aspect of the heel. There should be black and white lines lateral of this line. You can double check this on the next screen. • The entire foot should be inside the red box when you capture the still.

  7. Taking the perfect cast This image is the image captured in its raw data. It can be viewed from any angle. The data missing in the top right corner is where the thumb was holding the foot in sub-talar joint neutral (it is not required). You can mark a line to ensure you have collected the data required for the medial arch.
