  3. 5 YEAR ACTION PLAN – CONNECTING THE CONNECTORS:CAADP-GROW AFRICA PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP PLATFORM TRANSFORMATION AIMS INVOLVES : 1. Accelerating and Deepening Inclusive Value Chain and Public-Private Partnership Connections- Promote Establishment of Value Chain Connections between Large and Small Sector Actors as well as Increased Public-Private Partnerships; 2. Accelerating Environmental Transformation: Policy, Skills, Trade, Finance, Infrastructure and Ecosystems - Promote Acceleration of Improved Policy Environment, Access to Inclusive Business Finance, Profile and Model De-risking Institutions and Initiatives, Support Improved Infrastructure (Storage, Electricity, Transport), Skills Development Systems (Incubation and TVET related) and Support Ecosystems (Capacity Development/ Technical Assistance) 3. Promoting Sector Development around Market Demand, Particularly National, Regional and Continental Demand - Promote Agriculture/ Agribusiness around Business Metrics to Accelerate Implementation of Interventions and Tie Sector Development to National, Regional and Global Value Chain Demand 4. Monitoring, Evaluating, Modelling, and Knowledge Management and Dissemination – Promote CAADP Results Framework, and ensure establishment of regional, national and community results frameworks around which M & E will be undertaken to measure progress. Identify and promote good practice and capture and share key lessons learned.

Map Platforms and Key National, Regional and Continental Stakeholders/ Platforms (GROW Africa; NEPAD Business Foundation’s “Southern African Agribusiness Development Platform” and National Intermediary Institutions • CAADP Joint Action Group on Regional Infrastructure and Trade; African Green Revolution Forum; AFRACA; MFW4A; 3ADI; G8 Alliance for Food Security and Nutrition; Pan African Agribusiness & Agro-Industry Consortium; Global Compact/ AU Food Security Work Stream – Investment Forum; Global Agriculture Food Security Program Private sector Window); UNDP African Facility for Inclusive Markets; African Farmers Union (comprised of regional farmers unions) National Agriculture Public Private Platforms • 2. Establish Inclusive African Domestic Private Sector Secretariat at AUC to facilitate and coordinate Domestic private sector signatories of LOIs and other investors – Facilitate information, experience sharing and capacity building nationally/ regionally • 3. Convene Quarterly Platform Meetings – (March) During CAADP PP; (May) During/ Alongside GROW AFRICA Investment Forum; (September) During/ Alongside Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa; (November) –Stand alone Annual Planning Meeting for Following Year - Rotating Between Addis and Johannesburg • 4. Establish/ Strengthen National and Regional Domestic Business APEX Bodies and Evaluate/ Strengthen CAADP National and Regional Coordination Intermediary Institutions to Ensure Domestic Private Sector Engagement – Capacity Building Programme Establishment

Support Messaging for AUC Summit (June and July) – Seek Support for Platform of Platforms • *Representatives of these institutions stayed and participated in way forward discussion and committed to further work to bring the work stream closer to developing and implementing a bottoms up and top down public-private partnership and collaboration programme to implement CAADP
