  2. Introduction • SFU Surrey Business Student Association. • Idea developed by Cody and Charles early this semester. • Proposed to Sam Thiara on November 4th 2005, and immediate approval was given. • Only the second club at SFU Surrey centering on an academic area. Introduce yourselves!

Constitution • Mission Statement states that we provide: • Social and Learning Events • Competitions • Student Support (Entrepreneurial & Academic) • General Members, Executive Members & Advisors • Maximum of 10 executives. • Elections are for a year long term, and students run in teams of 7-10. You do not vote for individuals, but teams. • Meetings will be held a minimum of once per week during semesters.

  6. Events • Program options day – January 12th 10am-3pm • Social Gathering for all SBSA members/potentials • Joint IATSU/SBSA Alumni/Company Night • Orientation – January 6th, 2:45-3:45pm AQ 3153. A few minutes to speak, hand out promotional material? • Key points: • Place? • Promotion? • Attendees? • Financing?

  9. Next Meeting • What day and time is everybody available each and every week. • Room 800 will be reserved for this purpose, due to its boardroom style. • Constitution states that meetings will be held if 6/10 members are present.
