Spectratherm Overhead Track System for Efficient Vehicle Curing

The Spectratherm Overhead Track System is specifically designed to maximize vehicle through-output by significantly reducing standard curing and drying time. With a compact modular design and easy glide bridge system, it offers efficient space utilization and precise positioning of the curing heads. The system utilizes Short Wave Infra-Red curing technology for uniform heat distribution over a large curing area.

  1. Spectratherm Overhead Track System Specifically designed to maximize vehicle through output. Utilizing the Short Wave Infra-Red curing process it combines: • Lamps; • Unique reflectors; • Lamp array; • Thermal Integrated Sensor System (TISS)to significantly reduce standard curing and drying time.

  2. Easy Glide Bridge System The Short Wave Infra-Red curing heads are suspended from an overhead track system, freeing up valuable floor space. An easy glide bridge assembly makes positioning the curing heads, on any panel of a vehicule, effortless. There is no need tomaneuver portable floorsystems between tightlyspaced vehicles, eliminating any fearof vehicle damage. The innovative trackdesign and its cable carrier allow the track system to span multiple bays, no more electric cables dragging along or cluttering up the floor.

  3. Features of a Track System • Efficient on space utilization. • Easy to use and install. • Multiple positions system: x-axis, y-axis and z-axis. •Excellent maneuverability. •Compact modular design. • Strong, stable and rugged construction.

  4. Manual Models Control Systems An effortless lamp unit adjustment. A gas cylinder locking allows an easy and effortless adjustment of the lamp unit. The Digital Control Box is independent, and can be positionned on a nearby wall, column, or be free standing. Motorized Models Hand Held Controller drops down fromthe movable curing head arm, which allows precise positioning of curing heads.

  5. ….Turn Up the heat on quality, productivity and profits The Spectratek curing system’s heating units consist of tungsten filament high-temperature, halogen-filled quartz lamp that is encased in an aluminium cassette head with a high precision thermal reflector. The unique reflectorsthat envelop the lamps are specifically designed to direct all the energy from the lamps towards the vehicle.

  6. Efficient Lamp Units Lamp array are all positioned for absolutely uniform heat distribution over the largest curing area. ….Turn Up the heat on quality, productivity and profits Model 3000SD Model 4000SD Model 8000SD Curing Zone:100cm x 100cm(10,000cm2) Curing Zone:90cm x 85cm(7,650cm2) Curing Zone:100cm x 200cm(20,000cm2)

  7. Spectratek IR Reflectorbenefits and specifications Longer lifetime, better performance. 98% of the radiation is reflected (the competitor's gold reflectors provide less than 90% of the radiation). Manufactured with a High Gloss Aluminium, a superior quality material made in Germany. The material does not require any treatment (comparatively to competitor's reflectors which are anodized). Easy to clean and to remove dust for getting the original gloss of the reflector material.

TOP COAT TOP COAT TOP COAT BASE COAT BASE COAT BASE COAT PRIMER PRIMER PRIMER METAL METAL METAL SHORT WAVE IR HEAT SOURCE (2 Way Cure) Short Wave IR – Technology of the Future, Today Short Wave IR is different from other curing methods in many way. It dries and cures by heating both the coating and the substrate. A 2 way cure is superior to the top-down process associated with other curing methods in that it produces a more thorough cure and more heat can be applied without fear of skinning and solvent popping. Shot Wave IR’s higher heating temperatures reduces cures times and improves quality. MEDIUM WAVE IR HEAT SOURCE (Primarily Top-Down Cure) CONVECTION HEAT SOURCE (Top-Down Cure)

  9. Thermal Integrated Sensor System Spectratek’s unique and state-of-the-art Thermal IntegratedSensor System (TISS) takes the guesswork out of some of themost critical aspects of proper curing. Helps to position the curing unit for optimum heating with an ultrasonic sensor. Beeps when the unit is too far or too close. Continuous tone when the unit is at the ideal distance from the vehicle. Integrated timer allows you to preset ramp times. Optical sensor and electronics regulate the heating temperature based on the panel temperature desired. Maintains a constant temperature thereby ensuring the highest quality finish, without fear of over baking heat sensitive substrates.

  10. Thermal Integrated Sensor System also available with laser beam The laser beam projects a circle of points including a single point in the middle. The laser circle blinks until the distance is not reached. The laser circle stops to blink and determine the exact zone wherethe temperature will be taken and controlled duringthe complete curing cycle. Sensor panel design with integrated laser beam system.
