  1. World NITCAA Meet – 2013 Bangalore 16th & 17th August, 2013 Arrangements for stay of Participants

  2. Clarks Exotica The WNM – 2013 venue is at Clarks Exotica Resort, about 9 kms from Bangalore International Airport, Devanahalli. The resort is around 2 kms from the Bangalore-Hyderabad highway before taking the detour to the airport. Contract has already been signed with Clarks for the arrangements after hectic negotiations on the rates including room tariff. We have got a fairly good deal. Around 120 rooms have been blocked in Clarks Exotica. There are three types of rooms in Clarks: Notes: The charges are on European Plan ie. does not include breakfast or meals. However, Clarks have agreed t0 provide a simple breakfast, free of charge. Extra bed will be charged at Rs. 1000/- per bed per day.

  3. The rooms are spread over three buildings and three villas. The villas are slightly away from the resort. The distribution is given below: I. The old building next to the swimming pool : 1 Executive suite 18 Executive rooms These rooms are going to be renovated shortly. As it is, they are in good shape. II. Olympus Block opposite to the Old building: 2 Presidential suites 16 Deluxe Luxury rooms with kitchen and hall 14 2 Bedroom/Hall/Kitchen units – This is counted as 28 double bed rooms III. New Block containing reception: 18Luxury rooms with king bed and balcony 28 Luxury rooms with twin bed, no balcony IV. Villas 1 Villa with 6 bed rooms } The villas have kitchen, common hall etc. 2 Villas with 3 bed rooms}

  4. Presidential Suite – Olympus Block No. of suites – 2 Tariff – Rs. 14,000 per day

  5. Executive suite – Old block No. of rooms - 1 Tariff : Single occupancy – Rs. 9000/- per day Double occupancy – Rs. 9000/- per day

  6. Executive luxury rooms - New Block Luxury room with Hall, Twin bed, no balcony No. of rooms - 38 Luxury room with Hall, King bed and balcony No. of rooms – 18 Tariff for both types: Single occupancy – Rs. 4500/- per day Double occupancy – Rs. 5000/- per day

  7. Deluxe luxury rooms with hall and kitchen - Olympus Block 1 BHK suites have King Bed 2 BHK suites have one bed room with King Bed and the other with Twin Bed No. of 1 BHK Units – 16 No of 2 BHK Units – 14 ( counted as 28 Double rooms) Tariff for both types: Single occupancy – Rs. 4500/- per day Double occupancy – Rs. 5000/- per day

Other hotels – Hotel Presidency • Hotel Presidency, 2 kms from Clarks and close to the Bangalore-Hyderabad Highway • Total No. of rooms – 20 Double bed • Tariff – Rs 4200/- per day all inclusive with breakfast Note : Transportation will be provided by the WNM committee for morning pick up and night drop to and from Clarks Exotica.

Other hotels – California Resort • Ramanashree California Resort, 12 kms from Clarks • Total no. of rooms planned to be blocked – 40 executive • Tariff – Rs. 3000/- per day all inclusive with breakfast • Extra bed will cost Rs. 700. Note : Transportation will be provided by the WNM committee for morning pick up and night drop to and from Clarks Exotica.

  10. Proposal • Those who are desirous of booking rooms in any of the three hotels should inform one of the persons given on next page or mail to NITCAAB immediately giving the choice of rooms, no. of days, no. of persons, probable check-in and check out time. At Clarks, the check-in and check out are on 24 hour basis, preferably from 1200 to 1200 hrs. Grace period of a maximum 2 hours will be permitted when room is booked for a minimum of 2 days. Beyond 2 hours, 50 % rent will be charged. • Rooms will be reserved on first-cum-first -served basis. • Payment of 25% of total tariff will have to be made before 16th July, 2013 since the WNM-2013 committee has to guarantee occupancy. If cancellation is done after this date, the advance will have to be foregone. • The balance payment will have to be made by the members at check-out time. • We will be surrendering the blocked rooms not confirmed by 16th July, 2013 to the respective hotels.

  11. Proposal (contd.) • The following meals are organised by the WNM- 2013 committee for all participants and family who have registered: • Tea/ coffee with cookies on 16th August evening • Dinner on 16th night (Beverages will be on chargeable basis) • Breakfast on 17th August morning • Lunch on 17th August • Tea/coffee with cookies in the forenoon and afternoon • Cocktail and dinner on 17th night (Beverages will be on chargeable basis) • Those who are staying at Clarks will be provided a simple breakfast on their days of stay. • Those who are staying at Hotel Presidency and California Resort will be provided with regular buffet breakfast by the hotels. • Children above 12 years will be considered as adults for no. of pax.
