  2. Objectives • Use of NVG’s enhance safety during night flight operations • Proposed authorization will allow VFR enroute, landing and takeoff operations in airplanes • Does not alter ANY FAA regulation (weather, landing edge lights, cloud clearances, etc.)

  3. Take off and landing authorization Single pilot option Operating Experience requirements Previous 60 days 2 hours 2 take offs and 2 landings (if authorized) 2 transitions Category & Class Key points of Ops Spec A-051
