  2. We hear all these slogans • To seclude women • For men to have control over women • Allah is against women • Islam oppresses women

  3. "O Prophet, tell your wives and daughters and the believing women to draw their outer garments around them (when they go out or are among men). That is better in order that they may be known (to be Muslims) and not annoyed. And Allah is Ever Forgiving, All Merciful." Surah Ahzab: Verse 59

  5. Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their modesty. That is purer for them. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do. And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their modesty. (Surah An-Nur: Verses 30-31)

  6. أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ Should not HE who has created know? And He is the Most kind and Courteous, All Aware. Surah Al Mulk 67: Verse 14

  11. Men and women are equal spiritually in the eyes of Allah

  12. مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَى وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَنُحْيِيَنَّهُ حَيَاةً طَيِّبَةً وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ مَا كَانُواْ يَعْمَلُونَ Whoever works righteousness – whether male or female – while he (or she)is a true believer, verily, to him We will give a good life, and We shall pay then certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do. {Surah An Nahl 16: Verse 97}

  13. فَاسْتَجَابَ لَهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ أَنِّي لاَ أُضِيعُ عَمَلَ عَامِلٍ مِّنكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنثَى بَعْضُكُم مِّن بَعْضٍ ….. So their Lord accepted of them (their supplication and answered them), “Never will I allow to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female…. {Surah Al e Imran 3: Verse 195}
