  2. Hail to the REDSKINS!! What a GAME!! The Redskins and the Patriots met on Saturday for a much anticipated match up. The coaches and parents were apprehensive, but the Redskins just wanted to play! Once again, the sidelines were filled with family and friends, there to cheer on our team. Coach: John Downing 301-743-2391 Coach: Jeff Grimes Team Mom: Jodi Fields Team Editor: Amy Downing Game Schedule Week 1–Sept. 16, 9:00am, Field #1 WIN REDSKINS vs. Chiefs Week 2–Sept. 23, 9:00am, Field #2 (Picture Day) WIN REDSKINS vs. Ravens Week 3–Sept. 30, 10:00am, Field #1 WIN Falcons vs. REDSKINS Week 4–Oct. 14, 9:00am, Field #1 WIN REDSKINS vs. Steelers Week 5–Oct. 21, 9:00am, Field #2 LOSS REDSKINS vs. Patriots Week 6–Oct. 28, 9:00am, Field #1 Chiefs vs. REDSKINS Week 7–Nov 4, 9:00am, Field #1 Ravens vs. REDSKINS Nov. 12, Payoffs, SUPERBOWL at North Point High School All games (except the Super bowl) are played at William B. Wade Elementary School, 2300 Smallwood Drive West, Waldorf, MD 20603. **Mouthpieces ARE REQUIRED. Don’t forget yours, you can’t play without it!! Reminders: Make plans to attend the SMYFFL Awards Banquet on November 29th at 6:00pm. The even t will be held at the Jaycees Hall.

  3. The Patriots won the toss, and took possession of the ball first. Although the Patriots scored more points, there were no losers on the field Saturday. Once again, Peyton, Nicholas, Kolton, Will, Kyle, Maxine, Patrick, Jacob, Garrett and Satchel, you made us proud. Consistently the Redskins play as a team, and no matter the score, the Redskins are winners! Congratulations to the Patriots on the win, and thanks for such a great game. We hope to see you in the post season!
