Calorimetry Software • Supporting ORCA Calorimetry infrastructure • Redoing persistence infrastructure • Much refactoring & decoupling • Working closely with Fermilab LPC HCAL & JetMET groups • Added interface for using calibration in reconstruction • Providing simulation of new geometry • Including backwards-compatibility for older geometry • Reconstruction with HCAL tailcatcher • Calorimetry for new EDM • Doing simulation & digitization for all subdetectors • Wrote prototype HCAL reconstruction

Endcap Muon DAQ Designed and wrote software for: • VME control • Supports multiple crates • Many kinds of cards • Data unpacking • XDAQ distributed event building • Also sends data to monitoring • Reconstructing segments in ORCA At Sept. 2004 testbeam, helped to integrate: • 5 CSCs (4 peripheral crates) • 3 RPCs • Muon Trigger Trackfinder • HCAL into a single Run Control & DAQ 4 CSCs + 3 RPCs ME1/1’ on HE
