  4. Preterite of Hacer, Ser, Dar, and Ver • Unlike regular verbs, irregular verbs in the preterite do not have written accents • The preterite forms of the verb ser are identical to the preterite forms of the verb ir. The context will help you decide which verb is being used.

  5. Conmigo/Contigo • In order to express the idea of doing something with someone, use the following • *Conmigo (with me) • *Contigo (with you) • Con usted/ él / ella (with you formal/ with him / with her) • Con nosotros (as) (with us) • Con ustedes / ellos / ellas (with them) * Special forms for mí and ti.

  6. Invitations • Extending an invitation: ¿Quieres ir conmigo? ¿Te gustaria ir a …? • Accepting an invitation: ¡Claro que sí! ¡Me encantaría! ¡Cómo no! • Declining an invitation: Gracias, pero tengo otros planes. Gracias, pero no puedo.
