  4. If a moose runs toward you, run away!

  7. Be AWARE of bears! Look out for bear sign.

  8. Don’t wear headphones!

  9. Make Noise! Travel in Groups!

  10. If you see a bear, don’t run!

  11. Group together. Try to act calm.

  12. If the bear isn’t coming toward you, move away slowly, keeping your eyes on the bear.

  13. If the bear does not leave, group together, face the bear and talk to it so it knows you are human. Stay calm.If adults are nearby, call for help!
