ABUSES TO LIFE PROCESSES

Tobacco is a plant whose dried leaves are used in cigarettes, containing over 4,000 toxic chemicals. Key harmful substances include tar, nicotine, and carbon monoxide, which contribute to serious health issues such as emphysema, bronchitis, and heart attacks. Smoking during pregnancy poses risks of underweight and premature births, and potential birth defects like cleft lip and palate. To combat smoking, education on its dangers, health warnings on packaging, and restrictions on tobacco advertising are essential.
