  4. LSMP Travel Clinic • 1192 requests for travel health advice in 2006 • In the first 5 months of 2007 the demand for travel appointments was 22% greater than over the same period the previous year • Non-attendance common

Intentional outcomes • Reduction in time between patient requesting and receiving travel advice from travel nurse • A better use of staff time (by reducing non- attendance) • Increased patient satisfaction with the service as travel advice is available much sooner • A more visually interesting and complete travel page on our website, ensuring all the information available at face to face appointments is available online
