  2. Biography Se llama Miguel Cabrera. El es de Maracay, Venezuela. Miguel was a baseball player his whole life, but in 1999 he was drafted straight out of high school by the Florida Marlins. Here he played wearing the number 20 for the 2003 and ending his time with the Marlins wearing number 24. After the 2007 season he was traded to the Detroit Tigers as a third basemen. Still wearing his prized number 24 he continued to play and most recently won the first triple crown since 1973. Ending the 2012 season with a .330 batting average he sets his sights on an even better 2013 season.
