Created open source ALF reference implementation IEEE 1603-2003™ compliant lexical parser, syntax parser, and semantics checker Reference implementation serves as spec validation Uncovered very few minor issues that can be published as errata Also implemented bidirectional translator between ALF and de-facto industry library formats such as Liberty™ Found that the semantics of library models expressed in Liberty are fully encompassed in IEEE 1603-2003 Study of ALF applicability to new fields such as radiation hardness Whitepaper by Alex Zamfirescu IEEE 1603-2003 got IEC accreditation WG1603 update

Plans moving forward • Publish errata and application notes • Futher work on ALF reference implementation • Implement new Liberty extensions (e.g. ECSM, CCS) • Implement radiation hardness extensions Note: These extensions do not require a revision or change of IEEE 1603-2003. They can be implemented as a library of models described in ALF
