  2. Hw3 • Post your answers to GoPost: (10 points) • ASAP, the due time is 2pm this Friday • Project update: submit to CollectIt (60 points) • What is the topic? • What do you assume is given? And what you assume is not given? • Do you need some system (e.g., LDA)? If so, how hard is it to get it working? • Training/test data • Evaluation • Methodology • A short presentation (5-10 minutes)

Hw3 (cont) • Reading assignment: (30 points) • read SNA papers • answer some questions • Fei will make the papers and questions available by Thursday morning on GoPost (under “Hw3”) • Submit your answers to CollectIt • Hw3: • GoPost: Your answers to your questions, by 2pm this Friday • CollectIt: Project update and Reading assignment, due at 2pm next Tuesday.

Reading assignment • Read 16 short papers (each paper is 2 pages) at http://www.aclweb.org/anthology-new/W/W10/W10-05.pdf • Answer the following questions: • From all the papers, pick five tasks that look most interesting to you. • From all the papers, pick five ideas that sound most novel to you. • From all the papers, list 2-5 issues that you feel that the current CL fields have not addressed. If you have ideas about how to address them, include that in your answers. • Please cite the papers where the tasks/ideas/issues come from.
