  5. Advantages of ERP • Offering more efficient and effective business process. • Supports the centralize storage system /back-up. • Consistent business process that follows the best practice. • ERP may help user in tracking data • Provide better data analysis.

  6. Disadvantages of ERP • High cost. • Takes long time to get completely implemented and fully functional. • Need high skill human resource to control the system

It is an enterprise-wide information system designed to coordinate all the resources, information, and activities needed to complete business processes such as  Order, fulfilment, billing, Human Resource Management, and Production Planning. SAP R/3 Architecture

One of popular ERP tool/ software is SAP R/3. The effectiveness of an ERP system can be assessed by using a benefits framework. Suggestion • ERP implementation is recommended for enterprises to increase the profit • It is very challenging to find suitable vendor for ERP implementation • Monitoring during the implementation • Budgeting before starting the project
