Data Management and Data Base Issues
This research presents an in-depth analysis of ocean carbon data derived from the GLODAP database, which integrates information from 122 international and historical cruises, including 74 WOCE cruises. Conducted by experts at the Information Analysis Center of Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Princeton University, this symposium at Monte Verita (June 13-17, 2009) focuses on the implications of carbon dioxide measurements for global biogeochemical cycles. The seminal paper has been cited extensively, emphasizing its significance in oceanographic studies.
