  1. HEALTH KICKS RUN FOR YOUR LIFE

  2. For the last few years, we've heard that a quick walk is all you need to stay in shape. If that sounds too good to be true, it just might be • Most people are doing other forms of exercise, like cardio activities, running, walking or hiking

  3. Water Workouts • If you've been looking for a new and refreshing way to get or stay in shape, or if you're tired of sore feet and aching joints, water exercise may be for you • Working out in the water can be a great way to gain cardiovascular stamina, improve strength and flexibility, enhance body contours, increase circulation, rehabilitate healing muscles and control weight

  4. Weight Lifting • It’s Not Just Getting Up Off The Couch! • Pumping iron can help reduce inches from your waist • As you're lifting weights and putting more muscle mass on, you're speeding up your metabolism and so you're burning more calories throughout the day

  5. Aerobics • The biggest problem is overdoing it • Exhaustion, sore muscles, painful joints and shortness of breath are results of jumping in too hard and too fast • 3 to 5 minutes of brisk walking; easy strolling. Build up to 30 minutes of activity. Maintain 20 to 30 minutes of brisk exercise to improve health significantly

  6. Hiking • Regular hiking lowers your blood pressure, cholesterol level and weight • It can slow aging and improve your mental well-being, according to studies cited by the American Hiking Society • Stretch before hiking to avoid muscle strains and tears

  7. Healthy Diet • The goals of a heart-healthy diet are to eat foods that help maintain healthy cholesterol and lipid levels to reduce overall levels and low-density lipoproteins (LDL) and to increase high-density lipoproteins (HDL) • Any diet should also help keep blood pressure under control
