Project Description • Design standards will serve as a roadmap and reference guide for design teams that will be contracted to provide interior design services for Terminal 4 in the future. • Intent of the standards is to ensure cohesive, coordinated designs that are compatible with the aesthetic intent of the Terminal 4 facilities and way-finding systems. • Design standards are to reflect a contemporary character and sophistication while remaining compatible with the existing aesthetics of the building.

Project Scope of Work • The successful consultant will be responsible for developing an interior design standards manual for the public areas within Terminal 4. • The design standards manual shall reinforce and promote the airport’s identity, while recognizing the unique characteristics, architectural constraints and special needs of the airport.

Project Scope of Work • The design standards elements include, but not limited to the following: • • Prepare aesthetic renderings and color boards • to present to City staff; • • Incorporate stakeholder input; • • Address whole life costing and quality issues; • • Consider sustainability and LEED design; • • Promote innovation.

Statement of Qualifications Criteria • General Information – 10 points • Experience of the Prime Firm – 20 points • Experience of Key Personnel & Subconsultants – 25 points • Project Understanding and Approach - 25 points • Current / Recent Work Load with the City of Phoenix – 10 points • Overall evaluation – 10 points

Statement of Qualifications Criteria (Continued) • Each page side with criteria information will be counted. • Pages that have photos, charts, and graphs will be counted toward maximum number of pages. • Front and back cover, Table of Contents and tab dividers will NOT be counted toward the maximum page limit, UNLESS they include information that may be considered by the selection panel.
