Veterans & Service Members Appreciation Day at Playland

Join us on Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Playland Park in Rye, New York, for a day of appreciation for veterans and service members. Bring your family for a day filled with activities, demonstrations, and special offers. Parking pass distribution from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Park Entrance Circle. Registration for veterans and service members from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Lake Picnic Sections 9 & 10. Enjoy a Memorial Day ceremony at 2:30 p.m. followed by a U.S. Marine Corps' helicopter demo and display from 2 to 4 p.m. Veterans with proper identification will receive discounts and free parking passes. Uniformed military personnel or veterans in uniform can also get special offers. OEF/OIF "Welcome Home" veterans will receive complimentary parking passes and ride admissions. Free rides and admission for veterans and their immediate families registered with VA Hudson Valley HCS. Pre-register for parking passes by calling Westchester County Veterans Service Agency at (914) 995-2146.
